Annabel is a mixed media artist working from the human form. She mainly uses painted Japanese rice paper to create collages which break away from traditional representations of the figure. Drawing in charcoal and ink is also integral to her work.
After graduating with a first class degree in Illustration/3D work from Central Saint Martins Collage of Art & Design in 1993, she went into the theatre and film industry specialising in special effects makeup. The 15 years spent doing this now heavily influence her depictions of faces and figures
