To celebrate Ukrainian culture and commemorate one year since Russia’s full scale invasion, we’re showing a collection of work by contemporary Ukrainian artists currently living both within the Ukraine and abroad. On February 23 2022, the day before the war started, these artists were going about their lives and making art to reflect this. The work spans different media, styles, and influences, but all pick up on a common hope for the future, that one day there will be a “day after.”
